Have Patience to Step into the Circle of Light

Hi there, Reader! About 4 years ago, my life was turned upside down and sideways. The stirring of the pot actually started 6 years ago. But the Big Bang was in 2021 when I was put in the position to have to sell my house. Reason being that I took leave from my teaching job and the 1-year replacement job suddenly fell through. Still the end of covid, I couldn't find another temporary job, and instead of waiting until I defaulted on my mortage, I decided to sell my house. (I still morn that house!) That's when I realized I no longer had attachments and could move anywhere in the world. I chose Colorado. The mountains were calling! Seriously! Before moving, back in Indiana, I went to a women's collage-creation event. Our assignment was to pick out pictures from the 100s that called to us, put some of them into a collage and ponder the meaning. From more than 15 very different pictures I picked up, mine turned into a very cohesive 4-part collage.
This collage is one of the very few things that survived The Purge of 2021, when I sold nearly everything before moving to Colorado. Fast forward to yesterday. I went to a Medicine Women's 1/2-day retreat at Starhouse near Boulder, CO. We all drew an oracle card while asking Quangyin (goddess of compassion in Chinese Buddhist tradition) for guidance on our path. The card I drew is below. As soon as I looked at the picture on the front, I immediately thought of my collage and how the two had an uncanny resemblence. While I am reminded of the circle of women supporting each other, I am also reminded of the group of unseen guides supporting me. The message on the back of the card was titled "Fires of Infinity, Patience, Trust" and spoke to feeling as if you are on the outside and no space for you to enter the circle. "Be patient", says the message. Someone will leave the circle and bring their light into the world, and space in the circle will open up. You will then be able to enter the circle and receive your unique gift to share that is also part of the whole. As I continue to work on stepping into My Power with my business and my personal life, I find that layers of healing are also continually peeled back. I think we step in and out of the circle of light as each layer of healing happens. Recently there has been a lot of purging of various types of relationships and items in my life. I feel this is another layer being removed, so that the next layer can be seen and healed. Now I just need to be patient while a wait for my turn in the circle to receive my next light - something even bigger than before - to share with others.
