Spirit Animal Zebra

Hi there, Reader!

Are visited by animals in real life or in your dreams?

When I first moved to Colorado, I noticed an incredible number of magpie where I was living in the mountains. I learned that the spirit animal meaning of magpie is one of strong connection to the spiritual realm and are often considered messengers or protectors.

At the time, this felt right. I was going through huge transition in my life by moving intrastate and starting a brand new business.

I was also struggling with the place I had chosen to live when I first moved. It was a tiny house in the middle of nowhere, pipes froze the first night with a surprise snow fall, gas leaked, and did not see people for days. While I was enjoying the solitude and the beautiful scenery, I also felt I was being pulled to move.

Since I felt conflicted, one night I asked for spirit animals to show themselves to guide my decision. Show me a Magpie if I should stay in the tiny house. Show me a rabbit if I should move to the city.

The next morning, I saw a rabbit outside my window! That was a surprise, since magpie were abundant and I had not yet seen any rabbits. Rabbits symbolize the delicate balance between vulnerability and resilience, suggesting the importance of nurturing emotional needs and confronting fears.

So, I continued my search for a new place to live and found an apartment in Colorado Springs.

Now, 3.5 years later, I attended a women's day retreat, and I chose an oracle card from the spirit animal deck and drew a zebra. At the bottom of the card the following phrase was written:

Let go of your fear and know that you are safe and protected at all times.

As a spirit animal the zebra represents balance, harmony, and finding peace in the midst of chaos.

Ah! I have definitely been in a huge transition once again. Moving to a new apartment, creating a mentoring program and sound healing workshop and events. Always feeling like there is too much on my plate, and fearing that I move too slow to get it all done and won't be able to make a living.

The reality is, however, I AM making a living as a sound healing practitioner and instructor. I KNOW that I am protected. I UNDERSTAND the lessons I am learning along the way. FEAR only gets in the way of not doing what I have been brought to this world to do.

How do Spirit Animals show up in your life to remind you of life lessons?
